Boys' and Girls' Track and Field

Hello SJP CYO Parents -   Please read the email below and note that you have to fill out the NY CYO Track Waiver (Item #1 below has the link) in addition to the registration on our SJP website.   This is a requirement from NY CYO.

We will be determining the dates of practice shortly and will get a note out to everyone who registers.  We recognize that many athletes participate in multiple sports, so we have set the meets on Saturdays and Sundays.  We would really like to have more athletes participate in the meets.  So, please make every effort to attend the meets - they are a lot of fun.

The Track season is upon us! The season will kick off at the newly built, state of the art indoor facility Ocean Breeze on Staten Island for the Inaugural CYO Invitational on Saturday, April 1^st @ 10:00 AM. The season will then move outdoors the following weekend to Mount St Michael Academy on April 8^th. The Full schedule and meet information has been posted on the CYO website which you can access here.

Please prepare your families for this upcoming season. Here is a summary of what to expect for this season:

1.       NEW: ALL PARENTS MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE WAIVER FORM. Direct Link Here

No athlete will be allowed to participate without completing this one minute process.

By instituting this 1 minute step for your parents, will help ensure the Arch Championship check in process can be run more smoothly in June.

2.       COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY: It was decided that we will give back to the place that has made it possible for hundreds of kids to enjoy and experience Track & Field, Mount St Michael Academy. Date is TBD, but we hope you will rally your team to take part in this day.

3.       Disney Trip: Save the Dates July 10^th - 15^th. I am very excited about this yearÃ???Ã??Ã?¢??s team, as I have heard from many that will be going. Remember Alumni that are now currently in HS are eligible to attend with the team. This is a great family trip with a little track & field mixed in. J. please contact me with any questions or indicate if you are considering going.
