2024 SJP Track and Field Hello SJP CYO Parents. Spring is here - who is ready to run? The weather is nicer and it's time to start running again. Let's get a big team together and bring another championship home to SJP! Track is open to grades K-8 and no experience needed. Here are some initial details and we will share more as we go forward 1. Grades: We have kids from grades K-8 part of the program. We will separate the kids into age groups at practices. Races are run by grade groups as well. No experience is needed and we have kids at all ability levels. We welcome all into the program.

2. Practices: We have practice times available 2 times a week (currently planned for Weds and Friday evenings around 6pm). These practices are run jointly with SJP and the CYO Club team. We will alternate between trail runs and track work-outs at Mount Saint Michael Academy. You do not need to come to all practices. We offer multiple options as we realize that schedules are tough to align. We do recommend that kids come at least once per week to be ready for the meets and to make friends with their teammates.

3. Meet: We have lined up about 6 meets this year which will mostly be held on Sundays at Mount Saint Michael in the Bronx. It is a beautiful, Newly renovated track and we are lucky to have access. Schedule will be announced soon.
4. Cost: Please register on the LeagueApps site. The fees for the season is $150 per child. That includes all practices, meets and uniforms. The season goes from late March through early June.

5. Registration: you need to register at the LeagueApps site for each child. We will build the roster based on this, so please make sure you are registered.
